The Living End are storming back onto the scene with ‘I Only Trust Rock n Roll’, the first album from the Australian rock icons in 8 years. To ring in this momentous occasion, the band are gonna do what they do best and tear it up live at some of the country’s most spectacular venues.
These shows will see the trio blast through two huge sets every night: the first will see the band ripping through select tracks from their explosive new LP, the rock ‘n’ roll call to arms, I Only Trust Rock n Roll, plus the full swag of hits that have made them household names over the last three decades – White Noise, Roll On, Who’s Gonna Save Us and more.
The second set will take fans back to where it all started, with the band playing their iconic self-titled debut album in FULL – West End Riot, Second Solution, Prisoner of Society and every album track.
What more could a TLE fan ask for? It’s a concert experience that truly spans the full history of the band. These shows are not to be missed!

Loose Content are a three-piece indie/alt-rock band hailing from the hinterland of Byron Bay. Formed during high school by close friends MiLLa (bass and vocals) Sam Sanders (guitars) and Aquila Porter (drums & BV’s). Relocating from the North to their spiritual home of Naarm / Melbourne, Loose Content are following the footsteps of bands like The Birthday Party and The Drones who cut their teeth and built their musical output on residency gigs and tales of shared housing. Loose Content’s sound draws inspiration from artists like The Police, Radiohead, Courtney Barnett and deep cut Talking Heads. Part pop. Part punk. Art. Indie. Rock.

The Fortitude Music Hall is a wheelchair accessible venue, the main auditorium is located on the Brunswick Street Mall level (ground floor). There is a lift located for the mezzanine level and our staff will be able to assist you to your designated area. There are wheelchair amenities available on both levels, and companion cards are accepted.

COLDWAVE
Australian six-piece Coldwave is a frantic yet tightly controlled blend of jagged guitars, booming horns and uncompromising vocal delivery that captures the abstract in life’s most mundane moments.
Wielding a sound described as “post-punk pulse accelerant”, Coldwave’s EPs ‘Same Window, Different House’ and ‘No Conflict’ were met with glowing praise, the title track of the former touted as “precise in [its] chaos” (Dave McCarthy, Laundry Echo) and “like being plunged into an ice bath and set on fire” (Abby Butler, Triple J). Off the back of a year supporting industry heavyweights including Pond and RVG, Coldwave’s upcoming release ‘The Ants / Italia ‘06’ sees the band exploring influences fresh and familiar.

PLEASANTS
Hailing from the tight-knit music scene of Perth, Australia, Pleasants is a band born out of years of collaboration, shared stages, and the occasional terrible retail job. Fronted by Alex (guitar, lead vocals), the live lineup is rounded out by Matt (guitar, backing vocals), Indigo (bass), and Alec (drums). Though the band itself is a relatively new entity, its members have long been embedded in the fabric of the Australian underground, playing in an array of punk, garage and powerpop outfits.

Public Transport
Trains to and from Perth operate from the Fremantle Train Station by Transperth, with buses connecting to meet with trains. There are bus stops in and around the city making it easy to get around. Visit the Transperth website for schedules and service interruptions.
Parking
A paid car park catering for over 60 vehicles is located directly outside Fremantle Prison, The Terrace via Fothergill Street.
Another large paid car park is located at the bottom of Fairbairn Ramp, accessible via Parry Street.
There are two ACROD parking bays located in City of Fremantle car park #29 (The Terrace) and three located in City of Fremantle car park #1 (Parry St).
Both car parks are managed by the City of Fremantle and parking fees apply.

SOUTHEAST DESERT METAL
Described as the “most isolated metal band in the world”, Southeast Desert Metal hail from the 500-population community of Ltyntye Apurte (Santa Teresa), about 70km from Alice Springs. Having toured all over Australia and releasing three albums across their decade-long history, the group’s sound was born from being sick of “all the reggae bands in the bush”. All they can ask for is to keep writing songs, releasing music, and getting their music out there to those who listen.
“I grew up in the desert, learning Dreamtime stories from my Auntie, listening to Iron Maiden, AC/DC and Black Sabbath,” explains guitarist and vocalist Chris Wallace. “I always wanted to play like my idols.
“I started the band when some younger fellas in the community started wanting to play a heavier sound too. Music is a way to connect with people and share a message.”
