Set in some of Australia’s most spectacular locations, this festival invites you to soak in stunning scenery while enjoying performances from the finest names in country music.

Sunburnt Country is ALL AGES.

Patrons aged 3-17 must have a valid Children's Ticket and be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian (sorry, an older friend or sibling doesn't count).

Children under the age of 3 are permitted free of charge without a ticket.

All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian at all times while on the premises.

Children are permitted in General Admission and Premium General Admission only - same ticket type as their accompanying parent/guardian.

Note: Although this is an all ages event, the Promoter recommends parents should consider whether the event is appropriate for their child.

Whilst we allow children to attend, please give some consideration as to whether the environment is right for them. Some performers may have content and/or lyrics which you may consider inappropriate for children and as a licensed event alcohol will be available to patrons 18 years and older.

For parents considering bringing a baby to the concert - bringing your baby is entirely your prerogative, however not recommended, for both the child's wellbeing and safety, and your enjoyment of the show.

Getting to Queensland Country Bank Stadium:

Walking - The best way to get to the venue is by walking to the stadium. There are purpose built walking paths that bring you right into the precinct.

Park & Ride Shuttle Bus - Pending event requirements there may be a FREE Park and Ride Shuttle Bus Service running from Lou Litster Park.

Rideshare & Drop Off - Pending event requirements there may be an established rideshare zone on the Dean Street Car Park side of Morey Street.

Translink operate Townsville's public transport buses. Use their Journey Planner feature for your event day travel.

There will be no pass outs for this event unless in an emergency or medical situation.
Please make sure bring everything you need for the whole day/night.

Our outdoor concert sites are predominantly flat grassland and at times, part of the venue can be soft and boggy. For patrons in a wheelchair, there will be an accessible viewing area. However, being accompanied by a carer is recommended.

We have made a number of provisions to ensure our events are accessible to all. These include provision of a complimentary carer ticket, accessible entrance lanes and accessible toilet facilities.

There is an Accessible Area with a dedicated zone and an Accessible toilet. Note that there is no platform. Only one carer per person unless there are exceptional circumstances.

For event days, there are a limited number of accessible parking spaces available on a pre-booked ONLY basis for vehicles with Australian Disability Parking permits.

ACCESSIBILITY DROP OFF & PICK UP

A dedicated accessibility zone is established on Pride Close for pick up and drop off.  This zone can be used by taxi's or private vehicles; for guests who have accessibility requirements.

This drop off/pick up zone is closest to Gate D and Gate E.

This is approximately 200m from Gate E.

MEDICATIONS & PRESCRIPTIONS
If you need to bring prescription medication to the festival, it must be in its original packaging, with a dispensary label that matches the name on the ticket holder’s ID. On the day, please enter via the accessible lane so our medical team can review your medication. We recommend only speaking with the medical team about your medication. If you speak to security or entry staff, simply ask to be directed to the medical entry point.

GUIDE & SERVICE DOGS
Guide dogs, hearing dogs, or registered assistance and companion animals are permitted on site. For patrons attending with a service animal, please ensure they are wearing their identification coat and harness or lead at all times, and that you carry valid accreditation or identification confirming their registration.

Only service dogs are permitted and must be registered by emailing info@facetofacetouring.com.au

If you do plan on attending the event with your service dog, please consider ear protection as in most cases dogs can show extreme signs of stress in conditions with loud music and large crowds. 

No other dogs or animals of any kind are permitted.

The concert will proceed rain or shine. Only exceptionally severe weather conditions will affect the performance, so be prepared for either scenario.

If it does rain, the show will go ahead unless conditions are deemed to be dangerous. If the forecast is for even the possibility of rain, we suggest coming prepared with a reliable raincoat or rain poncho and appropriate footwear.

Alcohol
You may not bring in or leave with any alcohol whatsoever.

Bags
Bags will be subject to a search upon entry. Any person in possession of prohibited items may be refused entry to the site. If in doubt leave it at home or in the car.

Box Office
One box office will be in operation and located near the main entry.
Patrons are encouraged to pre-print e-tickets or collect their tickets in advance from a Ticketmaster outlet.

Cloakroom Facilities
Cloakroom facilities will not be available. Prohibited items will not be permitted within the event, so if in doubt leave it in the car or at home.

First Aid
First Aid will be in attendance – please approach any of our friendly staff if feeling unwell.

Photo ID
Photo ID will be required for entry (this event is strictly 18+). Please note that because this is a licensed venue, patrons are unable to take alcohol from the site at the end of the night, whether opened or sealed.

ZERO TOLERANCE ON ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES AND UNDERAGE DRINKING

We have a zero-tolerance policy on illegal substances and drugs. Anyone suspected of using or found in possession of illegal substances or drugs will be escorted from the grounds and handed over to the police. Undercover police officers may also be actively searching for offenders.

COMMITMENT TO SAFETY

We want all our patrons to have a great time at our concerts. That’s what concerts are all about. We actively support and promote equality, diversity and inclusion and strive for our concerts and events to be a place of belonging.

But we take bad behaviour seriously.

Bullying, fighting, inappropriate touching of others, throwing items on stage, or verbal abuse are all clearly abhorrent and unacceptable. No person should ever have to endure this type of behaviour by others when they are attending a concert and simply trying to have a great time. We take various measures at our concerts to keep patrons as safe as possible.

We ensure that security staff that are posted to dancing and “mosh pit” areas have a heightened awareness of bad behaviour.

LEAVING THE VENUE AFTER THE SHOW

Please be prepared and allow some time to leave the venue if you are driving. Expect delays. Your patience is appreciated. Also please respect our neighbours.
