Since her emergence onto the national conscience with her now 6x Platinum single ‘Adore’ back in 2016, the trajectory Amy Shark has been on has seen her evolve from a unique new presence in an Australian indie-pop realm that was very much in a period flux; to becoming one of the country’s most recognisable voices taking the genre forward. And in the years that followed the ground-breaking release of ‘Adore’, Amy Shark continued to prove powerhouse potential.

It has been 30 years since one of Australia’s most revered rock bands, Baby Animals, burst onto the scene with the release of their 8x Platinum, ARIA Award winning, self-titled debut album, featuring iconic hits ‘Rush You’, ‘Early Warning’, ‘Painless’ and ‘One Word’. The band was touring with Van Halen in the US when they heard the album had topped the charts, ‘Baby Animals’ spending six weeks at number one in Australia and keeping Nirvana’s ‘Nevermind’ out of top spot. The album went eight times platinum and won three ARIA Awards – Best Album, Best Debut Album and Best Debut Single. It was also declared one of the Top 25 albums of 1992 in UK rock bible Kerrang!, and Baby Animals performed ‘Painless’ on Late Night With David Letterman. They later appeared in The 100 Best Australian Albums, and Suze DeMarchi was also featured in the book Rock Chicks, The Hottest Female Rockers from the 1960s to Now.

Mark Seymour is internationally regarded as one of Australia's best singer / songwriters. Since making his name as the lead singer of Hunters and Collectors, Mark has enjoyed a stellar career as a singer and acoustic guitarist. As well as 13 Hunters and Collectors albums, Mark has released eight further albums. Mark Seymour is one of our finest songwriters, capturing our stories of love, loss, human courage and achievement with a stamp of raw honesty and emotional power. He continues to search for the emotional truth in a song.

The Seymour band (AKA “The Undertow”), has enjoyed a solid lineup consisting of ex-Horsehead guitar player and producer Cameron McKenzie, ex-Badloves bass player John Favaro and this united band effort still has Seymour at the songwriting helm.

Since their formation, Perth, Australia’s Voyager have fearlessly defied any genre norms, boundaries and regulations thrust upon them. They embrace pop; employ a keytar on stage, and bring forward a positive, uplifting feeling to their riff-laden music, running head-first into the endless parade of heavy bands who see the world in a darker light.

Voyager are renowned for shattering expectations and their resilience and determination is second to none. Voyager’s music has had a contagious impact around the world, and recently represented Australia in the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest.

Following on from a year that saw them named as “indie role models for reconciliation”, as well as triple j’s 2022 “ones to watch”, South Summit have well and truly surpassed the expectations placed upon them. The unassuming indie-rockers have made a name for themselves across Australia, with a nomination for triple j Unearthed ‘Artist of The Year’, alongside landing #4 Most Played on the station, the icing on the cake of last year’s accolades.

Released in January 2022, sophomore EP 'Creatures' provides South Summit the opportunity to bookend this formative chapter of their story, with a culminating body of work pulling inspiration from the challenges and adversity they’ve faced & overcome in the year preceding. The band toured the release to sold out shows across the country earlier this year and have immediately turned their attention back to new music with infectious new single ‘Just Like You’ added to triple j rotation.

Fremantle singer songwriter, producer, Jarred Wall is a proud Noongar man delivering unique electro pop. A BIGSOUND 50 artist in 2020, Boox Kid is a cross genre performer, starring as Wardong in WA Opera's Koolbardi Wer Wardong (2021/22), written by Gina Williams and Guys Ghouse and sung entirely in Noongar language. Boox Kid was a speaker at WAMcon 2022 and participated in APRA's 2022 RESONATE songwriting and production program at Studios301, collaborating with First Nation artists as Candice Lorrae (The Merindas), Jem Cassar-Daley and Cloe Terare, with releases looming.  Fresh off opening for George Ezra’s Perth show, 2023 is set to be a big year for Boox Kid with collaborations coming soon, followed by Boox Kid’s debut EP.

Dulcie are a 3-piece Indie-pop band from Perth, Western Australia (Ashleigh Carr-White, (vocals/keys), Timieka Denton (vocals/bass) & Saskia Brittain (vocals/guitar). Each of them grew up with a strong passion and love for music which comes through in their songwriting. Forming through their studies at WAAPA, they began their journey of making their name known around the Australian music scene - playing festivals like GTM, Laneway and shows with artists such as Ocean Alley, G-Flip, King Stingray, Amy Shark and Spacey Jane. It fills them with complete joy to share their creativity and journey with you all.

16-year-old Mitch Santiago is a self-taught multi-instrumentalist from Perth, Australia. He’s described by triple j as a "Perth prodigy making extremely good indie rock" and as one of BigSound 2022's "9 standout acts ready to explode". Back in July 2022, Mitch celebrated the release of his singles ‘Out For You’ and ‘How I See You’ with his first ever national headline tour where he played to full rooms across Perth and Melbourne.

Attendees of one of Mitch's high-energy shows can expect to be blown away by the catchy song writing, powerful vocals and a soaring soundscape of multiple live-looped tracks and effects fused into a sonic wall that will leave them breathless.
