Nile Rodgers is a Rock & Rock Hall of Fame inductee, Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee and a multiple Grammy Award winning songwriter, composer, producer, arranger and guitarist.

As the co-founder of CHIC, Rodgers pioneered a musical language that generated chart-topping hits and sparked the advent of hip-hop with “Good Times”.

His work in the CHIC Organization includes “We Are Family” with Sister Sledge and “I’m Coming Out” with Diana Ross and his productions for artists like David Bowie (“Let’s Dance”), Madonna (“Like A Virgin”) and Duran Duran (“The Reflex”) have sold over 500 million albums and 100 million singles worldwide while his innovative, trendsetting collaborations with Daft Punk (“Get Lucky”), Daddy Yankee (“Agua”), and Beyoncé (“Cuff It”) reflect the vanguard of contemporary hits.

Guitarist, Vocalist ,Songwriter & music producer. Howie has recorded in the US, UK and Australia and has supported touring artists such as Daryl Braithwaite, Wendy Matthews, The Whitlams, Ian Moss, Kate Ceberano, Tina Arena, Simply Red and Stevie Wonder.

Currently based in Perth with a strong local audience base he is as comfortable on a touring stage as he is doing corporate events, local bars and private events as well as putting together and performing tribute shows to Bill Withers, Marvin Gaye, Rodriguez, Sting and the Police which have all been well received.

An accomplished guitarist and bass player and in demand session musician for recordings and live dates. He is a seasoned professional performer, punctual and efficient and completing projects and events and a great communicator making any work environment comfortable and delivers the best possible show every time.

This event has allocated seating and there are 3 ticket categories:

1. Platinum Reserve Seating + Prison Tour
    This will be a seat in the block closest to the stage, plus a tour of Fremantle Prison prior to the event.

2. A Reserve (Allocated Seating)

3. General Admission (Standing)

Gates open at 5.30PM. Please be aware there may be queues to enter the venue for the first part of the evening.

Fremantle Prison is a World Heritage site and must be respected at all times.

Visitors to Fremantle Prison should note that the surfaces you walk on are not always even. Please watch your step.

No shoes, no shirt, no entry.

Fremantle Prison is strictly a non-smoking site.

Fremantle Prison accepts no liability for any loss, damage or injury arising from a visit or whilst on the premises.

It is a condition of entry that visitors observe all signs and follow instructions by Fremantle Prison staff.

Fremantle Prison retains the right to deny access and/or remove visitors who are being a public nuisance, acting recklessly, or failing to observe directions from Fremantle Prison staff or signage.

Strictly no BYO alcohol, and no smoking.

Food and drinks will be available to purchase at the venue. You cannot bring your own food.

No pass outs.

PARKING INFORMATION

A paid car park catering for over 60 vehicles is located directly outside Fremantle Prison, The Terrace via Fothergill Street. Another large paid car park is located at the bottom of Fairbairn Ramp, accessible via Parry Street. There are two ACROD parking bays located in City of Fremantle car park #29 (The Terrace) and three located in City of Fremantle car park #1 (Parry St). Both car parks are managed by the City of Fremantle and parking fees apply.
