ANGUS & JULIA STONE

Angus & Julia Stone’s music seems to float on its own dreamy wavelength. Maybe that effect comes from the enigmatic bond of a shared history between brother and sister — or maybe it’s something deeper, something in their DNA that comes through so often in the music of family bands.

Their new album, Karaoke Bar, is another evolution in the pair’s history of songwriting, recording, and producing. A vibrant collection of songs born out of adventures across the world, carrying with them the spirit of the places, people and moments that inspired their creation. With Karaoke Bar, they open the doors to yet another chapter: a record that leans into joy.

Together as musicians, producers, and songwriters, Angus & Julia Stone have always been two halves of a whole — a collaboration that reveals their deep love for music and a gift for storytelling. Over the years, their songs have taken them from their childhood home in Sydney to the far corners of the globe, sharing their music with a growing community of fans.

They may still speak with modesty about their talents, but for those who listen, Karaoke Bar confirms what has always been true: Angus & Julia Stone are at their best when they follow their instincts, turning life’s strange, difficult, and beautiful moments into music that feels timeless, human, and true.
