JIMMY BARNES

JIMMY BARNES is the most successful artist in Australian chart history. He’s had 16 solo number one albums – no artist has had more – plus six chart-topping albums with Cold Chisel. Barnesy’s 21st solo album, DEFIANT, entered the Australian charts at number one in June this year. Cold Chisel’s new live album, The Big Five-O Live, will be released on August 8.

The shows will also honour a dear friend who was instrumental in the making of the album. ARE THERE AGE RESTRICTIONS?

Children under the age of 12 years are permitted free entry in the General Admission Lawn area only. Everyone regardless of age requires a ticket in the Reserved Seating areas. Persons under 18 must be accompanied by a ticket-holding parent or legal guardian at all times.

Whilst we allow children to attend, please give some consideration as to whether the environment is right for them. Some performers may have content and/or lyrics which you may consider inappropriate for children and as a licensed event alcohol will be available to patrons 18 years and older.

For parents considering bringing a baby to the concert - bringing your baby is entirely your prerogative, however not recommended, for both the child's wellbeing and safety, and your enjoyment of the show.

Please note: there is no shade or protection from the sun or rain. Prams are not permitted in the aisles in the seated area, regardless if you have an aisle seat.

WHAT CAN I BRING?

Reserved Seating Ticket Holders – Chairs are provided in this section. You are permitted to bring a supermarket sized cooler bag into this area (must fit under the chair).


General Admission Lawn Ticket Holders

  • BYO standard sized camping chair (as a guide the back of chair no higher than 100cm). High back camping chairs whilst permitted, will be positioned at the rear of the venue. Coolers, eskis and cooler bags are permitted in this area but must be no larger than 26L (cabin sized).
  • Small cheese platters (wooden or plastic up to 40x20cm in size) are permitted in the General Admission Lawn/Rear area only. Cheese boards are not permitted in the Reserved Seating section.
  • Card payments are accepted throughout the venue.
  • Sealed plastic bottled water (still or sparkling) up to 1.5L in size. Empty translucent plastic bottles can be brought into the venue to use at our free water stations (no stainless steel bottles or cups permitted).
  • There is a wide selection of food available for purchase.
  • Event sites are outdoors and will have some sloped and uneven areas. Wear appropriate footwear for outdoor conditions.
  • If the forecast is for rain, please bring suitable shoes, a poncho or raincoat.

  • GA Lawn; area located behind Reserved Seating section. This is an unreserved area that is based on a first-come, first-served basis with BYO rug or camping chair. When purchasing a General Admission ticket, you may be quoted a row and seat number, however these are for inventory purposes only and do not reflect an actual seat or location. Please be aware of how much room your group is taking up; be considerate of others and set up as indicated on the screen graphic, or as advised by ushers/security.

HOW DO I GET THERE?

The venue, Mount Duneed Estate, is located at 65 Pettavel Rd, Mount Duneed VIC 3217


PARKING

Parking is at owners risk. Parking outside of the venue on surrounding roads is not permitted.

In the event that the onsite parking is affected by wet weather, off site parking and a complimentary bus shuttle will be made available. Please check the MG Live website and the relevant tour page before you head out to the concert and make sure you allow some extra time to get to the show.

Parking is available on site and can be pre-purchased for $30 per vehicle via Ticketmaster or you can pay by cash or card on the day. If you CAR-POOL to the concert and arrive in a vehicle with 4 or more paying ticket holders you will NOT be charged for parking. Please note there are no refunds for pre-paid parking if you arrive with four or more passengers.

 

TRANSPORT OPTIONS

Bus services: Taking the bus to and from the event is the best way to travel to and from the event. Please check the Bus Services and Transport Information section under the relevant venue on the MG Live website.


Pick up & Drop off: You can be dropped off and picked up from the venue. Please use the dedicated pick up / drop off zone. Drop off and pick up on surrounding roads is not permitted.


Taxis: A dedicated taxi rank is supplied at all events. Please note taxis can be in short supply at the end of the night and we highly recommend that you make alternative arrangements particularly for these events. Taxis must drop off passengers inside the venue and no pickups are allowed on the roads outside of the venue.


Ubers: Anyone getting dropped off or picked up by an Uber driver must do so in the dedicated pick up and drop off area. Please note organising a pickup from the site might be difficult due to poor mobile reception.

For private charter buses larger than 12 seaters, please register for bus parking via the MG Live website.

CAN I CAMP IN THE CARPARK?

Camping in the car park or anywhere on site is strictly prohibited.

CAN I LEAVE MY CAR IN THE CARPARK OVERNIGHT?

We do not advise this and we encourage patrons to make use of all bus transfer services available.

Leaving  your vehicle overnight is entirely at your own risk. The car park is not a secured or patrolled area.

These events are held outdoors on sites with terrain that consists of grass and uneven, rough surfaces. There is no shade or undercover areas, and the inclement weather can have a significant impact on the conditions of the site. We recommend taking this into consideration and reviewing the relevant venue’s Event Site and Distances information within this guide.

CARERS

We are pleased to support the National Companion Card system. Please have your companion card handy when booking your ticket as well as bringing it along with you when attending the event. Please note there is a limit of one complimentary carer ticket per companion card.

GUIDE & SERVICE DOGS

Guide dogs, hearing dogs, or registered assistance and companion animals are allowed on site. For patrons attending with a guide or service dog, we ask that handlers carry appropriate identification/accreditation for the dog and for the dog to wear at all times their identification coat and harness/lead.

If you are purchasing Reserved Seating tickets, please contact Ticketmaster’s accessibility line on 1300 446 925 or alternatively, you can submit a request via https://help.ticketmaster.com.au,and advise you require a complimentary seat for your service dog. At the event, our team of ushers can assist in removing the complimentary reserved chair for your service dog to sit comfortably with you in the reserved seating area. Please be aware patrons often stand / dance in front of their seats throughout the events.

Our venues can be very large sites where dogs will experience dense crowds, high levels of noise and laser, strobe and other lighting effects maybe in use at the event. We recommend guide and service dogs are not positioned within the front rows of the stage due to high sound volume and the dog’s comfort and wellbeing.

 

WHEELCHAIR PATRONS

Wheelchair tickets are available for purchase in the Reserved Seating area or in the GA Lawn area. There will be a designated wheelchair space in the GA Lawn area, and this will be signposted on the day with a blue wheelchair flag.

ACCESSIBLE PARKING

Accessible parking at Mt Duneed Estate is split into 2 designated accessible areas:

  • Wheelchair Patrons will park via Gate C on Pettavel Road in proximity to Entrance 1.
  • Limited mobility patrons who required accessible parking but do not require wheelchair-specific accessible parking, will park via Gate E or F via Pettavel Road. There will be signage indicating a meeting point near this parking area for buggy assistance to Entrance 2 entry gates. Due to demand for buggy service, only 1 additional guest can join accessible patrons on the buggy.

Accessible parking spaces are limited, please assist us in event planning by registering for accessible parking here. Accessible parking capacity may become exhausted prior to the event and any events that are at capacity will be listed as such on the accessible parking form. Patrons will then be required to utilise the general parking area or pick-up drop off.

Accessible Parking spaces are not reserved and issued on a first-come, first-parked basis. Accessible parking is restricted to disabled parking permit holders only.

Please have your accessible parking permit displayed in your vehicle at all times and follow our traffic staff signage and instructions to the designated area.

In the instance onsite parking is affected due to recent weather events and can no longer be utilised (including the accessible parking area), patrons who have registered for an accessible parking space will be contacted via email with the pertinent information regarding offsite parking procedures.

Yes. Please ask security, event staff or first aid officers for help. There will a first aid service and marquee at every event. Please consider others as well as your own safety. If someone is in need of medical attention please let Security, Event Staff or First Aid know so they can help.

ARE PASS OUTS AVAILABLE?

No pass-outs at all venues (except in the case of adverse weather conditions or in an emergency).

WHAT IF IT RAINS?

If it does rain the show will go ahead unless conditions are deemed to be dangerous. If an event does not go ahead due to this reason, patrons will receive a full refund from point of purchase. If the forecast is for even the possibility of rain bring good quality raincoats and suitable footwear.

The decision to cancel a show will be made as early as possible but may not be made until the morning of the show. In the event of inclement weather patrons should check this website BEFORE departing for the show for messages regarding traffic, parking or wet weather arrangements.

Parking is at owners risk. Parking outside of the venue on surrounding roads is not permitted.

Parking is available on site and can be pre-purchased for $30 per vehicle via Ticketmaster or you can pay by cash or card on the day. If you CAR-POOL to the concert and arrive in a vehicle with 4 or more paying ticket holders you will NOT be charged for parking. Please note there are no refunds for pre-paid parking if you arrive with four or more passengers.

Bus services: Taking the bus to and from the event is the best way to travel to and from the event. Please check the Bus Services and Transport Information section under the relevant venue on the MG Live website.

  • Small cheese platters (wooden or plastic up to 40x20cm in size) are permitted in the General Admission Lawn/Rear area only. Cheese boards are not permitted in the Reserved Seating section.
  • Card payments are accepted throughout the venue.
  • Sealed plastic bottled water (still or sparkling) up to 1.5L in size. Empty translucent plastic bottles can be brought into the venue to use at our free water stations (no stainless steel bottles or cups permitted).
  • There is a wide selection of food available for purchase.
  • Event sites are outdoors and will have some sloped and uneven areas. Wear appropriate footwear for outdoor conditions.

  • Reserved Seating; the Reserved Seats are in front of the stage and chairs are provided in this area. You may day in the seated section, but please remain in front of the seat you have purchased.

  • General Admission; GA area located behind Reserved Seating section. This is an unreserved area that is based on a first-come, first-served basis with access to the Opera House Steps. When purchasing a General Admission ticket, you may be quoted a row and seat number, however these are for inventory purposes only and do not reflect an actual seat or location. Please be aware of how much room your group is taking up; be considerate of others and set up as indicated on the screen graphic, or as advised by ushers/security.

The Opera House is a 7-10 minute walk from Circular Quay, and is easily accessible by car, train, ferry, lightrail, bus, bike and on foot.

These events are held outdoors. There is no shade or undercover areas, and the inclement weather can have a significant impact on the conditions of the site.

For patrons in a wheelchair, there will be an accessible viewing area next to the mixing desk at the front of General Admission. Accessible bathrooms will be located near the area.

Being accompanied by a carer is recommended and we offer complimentary companion tickets for companion card holders.

ARE PASS OUTS AVAILABLE?

No pass-outs at all venues (except in the case of adverse weather conditions or in an emergency).

WHAT IF IT RAINS?

If it does rain the show will go ahead unless conditions are deemed to be dangerous. If an event does not go ahead due to this reason, patrons will receive a full refund from point of purchase. If the forecast is for even the possibility of rain bring good quality raincoats and suitable footwear.

The decision to cancel a show will be made as early as possible but may not be made until the morning of the show. In the event of inclement weather patrons should check this website BEFORE departing for the show for messages regarding traffic, parking or wet weather arrangements.

JIMMY BARNES

JIMMY BARNES is the most successful artist in Australian chart history. He’s had 16 solo number one albums – no artist has had more – plus six chart-topping albums with Cold Chisel. Barnesy’s 21st solo album, DEFIANT, entered the Australian charts at number one in June this year. Cold Chisel’s new live album, The Big Five-O Live, will be released on August 8.

  • Small cheese platters (wooden or plastic up to 40x20cm in size) are permitted in the General Admission Lawn/Rear area only. Cheese boards are not permitted in the Reserved Seating section.
  • Card payments are accepted throughout the venue.
  • Sealed plastic bottled water (still or sparkling) up to 1.5L in size. Empty translucent plastic bottles can be brought into the venue to use at our free water stations (no stainless steel bottles or cups permitted).
  • There is a wide selection of food available for purchase.
  • Event sites are outdoors and will have some sloped and uneven areas. Wear appropriate footwear for outdoor conditions.
  • If the forecast is for rain, please bring suitable shoes, a poncho or raincoat.
  • For sunny days make sure you wear a wide-brimmed hat for protection and bring plenty of sunscreen with you.
  • Please note: there are no sheltered areas - come prepared for rain or shine.

  • Metal cutlery, including cheese knives and stainless steel bottles or cups.
  • Selfie and GoPro sticks.
  • Aerosols, sunshades, tents and tables.
  • Umbrellas, even if it’s raining.
  • Glass - this includes wine glasses, jars, or any other containers or items made of glass

Parking is at owners risk. Parking outside of the venue on surrounding roads is not permitted.

If the onsite parking is affected by wet weather, off site parking and a complimentary bus shuttle will be made available. Please check the MG Live website and the relevant tour page before you head out to the concert and make sure you allow some extra time to get to the show.

Parking is available on site and can be pre-purchased for $30 per vehicle via Ticketmaster or you can pay by cash or card on the day. If you CAR-POOL to the concert and arrive in a vehicle with 4 or more paying ticket holders you will NOT be charged for parking. Please note there are no refunds for pre-paid parking if you arrive with four or more passengers.

 

TRANSPORT OPTIONS

Bus services: Taking the bus to and from the event is the best way to travel to and from the event. Please check the Bus Services and Transport Information section under the relevant venue on the MG Live website.


Pick up & Drop off: You can be dropped off and picked up from the venue. Please use the dedicated pick up / drop off zone. Drop off and pick up on surrounding roads is not permitted.


Taxis: A dedicated taxi rank is supplied at all events. Please note taxis can be in short supply at the end of the night and we highly recommend that you make alternative arrangements particularly for these events. Taxis must drop off passengers inside the venue and no pickups are allowed on the roads outside of the venue.


Ubers: Anyone getting dropped off or picked up by an Uber driver must do so in the dedicated pick up and drop off area. Please note organising a pickup from the site might be difficult due to poor mobile reception.

  • Small cheese platters (wooden or plastic up to 40x20cm in size) are permitted in the General Admission Lawn/Rear area only. Cheese boards are not permitted in the Reserved Seating section.
  • Card payments are accepted throughout the venue.
  • Sealed plastic bottled water (still or sparkling) up to 1.5L in size. Empty translucent plastic bottles can be brought into the venue to use at our free water stations (no stainless steel bottles or cups permitted).

These events are held outdoors on sites with terrain that consists of grass and uneven, rough surfaces. There is no shade or undercover areas, and the inclement weather can have a significant impact on the conditions of the site.

For patrons in a wheelchair, there will be an accessible viewing area available approximately 50 metres from the stage front. The accessible viewing area is at ground level. Children under the age of 12 years are permitted free entry in the General Admission Lawn area only. Everyone regardless of age requires a ticket in the Reserved Seating areas. Persons under 18 must be accompanied by a ticket-holding parent or legal guardian at all times.

Whilst we allow children to attend, please give some consideration as to whether the environment is right for them. Some performers may have content and/or lyrics which you may consider inappropriate for children and as a licensed event alcohol will be available to patrons 18 years and older.

For parents considering bringing a baby to the concert - bringing your baby is entirely your prerogative, however not recommended, for both the child's wellbeing and safety, and your enjoyment of the show.

Please note: there is no shade or protection from the sun or rain. Prams are not permitted in the aisles in the seated area, regardless if you have an aisle seat.

General Admission Lawn Ticket Holders

  • BYO standard sized camping chair (as a guide the back of chair no higher than 100cm). High back camping chairs whilst permitted, will be positioned at the rear of the venue. Coolers, eskis and cooler bags are permitted in this area but must be no larger than 26L (cabin sized).
  • Small cheese platters (wooden or plastic up to 40x20cm in size) are permitted in the General Admission Lawn/Rear area only. Cheese boards are not permitted in the Reserved Seating section.
  • Card payments are accepted throughout the venue.
  • Sealed plastic bottled water (still or sparkling) up to 1.5L in size. Empty translucent plastic bottles can be brought into the venue to use at our free water stations (no stainless steel bottles or cups permitted).
  • There is a wide selection of food available for purchase.
  • Event sites are outdoors and will have some sloped and uneven areas. Wear appropriate footwear for outdoor conditions.
  • If the forecast is for rain, please bring suitable shoes, a poncho or raincoat.
  • For sunny days make sure you wear a wide-brimmed hat for protection and bring plenty of sunscreen with you.
  • Please note: there are no sheltered areas - come prepared for rain or shine.

  • GA Lawn; area located behind Reserved Seating section. This is an unreserved area that is based on a first-come, first-served basis with BYO rug or camping chair. When purchasing a General Admission ticket, you may be quoted a row and seat number, however these are for inventory purposes only and do not reflect an actual seat or location. Please be aware of how much room your group is taking up; be considerate of others and set up as indicated on the screen graphic, or as advised by ushers/security.

PARKING

Parking is at owners risk. Parking outside of the venue on surrounding roads is not permitted.

If the onsite parking is affected by wet weather, off site parking and a complimentary bus shuttle will be made available. Please check the MG Live website and the relevant tour page before you head out to the concert and make sure you allow some extra time to get to the show.

Parking is available on site and can be pre-purchased for $30 per vehicle via Ticketmaster or you can pay by cash or card on the day. If you CAR-POOL to the concert and arrive in a vehicle with 4 or more paying ticket holders you will NOT be charged for parking. Please note there are no refunds for pre-paid parking if you arrive with four or more passengers.

 

TRANSPORT OPTIONS

Bus services: Taking the bus to and from the event is the best way to travel to and from the event. Please check the Bus Services and Transport Information section under the relevant venue on the MG Live website.


Pick up & Drop off: You can be dropped off and picked up from the venue. Please use the dedicated pick up / drop off zone. Drop off and pick up on surrounding roads is not permitted.


Taxis: A dedicated taxi rank is supplied at all events. Please note taxis can be in short supply at the end of the night and we highly recommend that you make alternative arrangements particularly for these events. Ubers: Anyone getting dropped off or picked up by an Uber driver must do so in the dedicated pick up and drop off area. Please note organising a pickup from the site might be difficult due to poor mobile reception.

WHAT IF IT RAINS?

If it does rain the show will go ahead unless conditions are deemed to be dangerous. If an event does not go ahead due to this reason, patrons will receive a full refund from point of purchase. If the forecast is for even the possibility of rain bring good quality raincoats and suitable footwear.

The decision to cancel a show will be made as early as possible but may not be made until the morning of the show. In the event of inclement weather patrons should check this website BEFORE departing for the show for messages regarding traffic, parking or wet weather arrangements.

JIMMY BARNES

JIMMY BARNES is the most successful artist in Australian chart history. He’s had 16 solo number one albums – no artist has had more – plus six chart-topping albums with Cold Chisel. Children under the age of 12 years are permitted free entry in the General Admission Lawn area only. Everyone regardless of age requires a ticket in the Reserved Seating areas. Persons under 18 must be accompanied by a ticket-holding parent or legal guardian at all times.

Whilst we allow children to attend, please give some consideration as to whether the environment is right for them. Some performers may have content and/or lyrics which you may consider inappropriate for children and as a licensed event alcohol will be available to patrons 18 years and older.

WHAT CAN I BRING?

Reserved Seating Ticket Holders – Chairs are provided in this section. You are permitted to bring a supermarket sized cooler bag into this area (must fit under the chair).


General Admission Lawn Ticket Holders

  • BYO standard sized camping chair (as a guide the back of chair no higher than 100cm). High back camping chairs whilst permitted, will be positioned at the rear of the venue. Coolers, eskis and cooler bags are permitted in this area but must be no larger than 26L (cabin sized).
  • Small cheese platters (wooden or plastic up to 40x20cm in size) are permitted in the General Admission Lawn/Rear area only. Cheese boards are not permitted in the Reserved Seating section.
  • Card payments are accepted throughout the venue.
  • Sealed plastic bottled water (still or sparkling) up to 1.5L in size. Empty translucent plastic bottles can be brought into the venue to use at our free water stations (no stainless steel bottles or cups permitted).
  • There is a wide selection of food available for purchase.
  • Event sites are outdoors and will have some sloped and uneven areas. Wear appropriate footwear for outdoor conditions.
  • If the forecast is for rain, please bring suitable shoes, a poncho or raincoat.
  • For sunny days make sure you wear a wide-brimmed hat for protection and bring plenty of sunscreen with you.
  • Please note: there are no sheltered areas - come prepared for rain or shine.

WHAT ITEMS ARE PROHIBITED?

  • ALL drinks are prohibited with the exception of sealed clear plastic bottled still or sparkling water up to 1.5L in size. These are licensed events, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are available for purchase at all venues. Empty translucent plastic bottles can be brought into the venue to use at our free water stations.
  • Metal cutlery, including cheese knives and stainless steel bottles or cups.
  • Selfie and GoPro sticks.
  • Aerosols, sunshades, tents and tables.
  • Umbrellas, even if it’s raining.
  • Glass - this includes wine glasses, jars, or any other containers or items made of glass

  • Pets (other than assistance dogs). 
  • Beanbags, blow-up air chairs or lounges.

  • There will be a security check at the gate and prohibited items will be confiscated. The Roundhouse & MG-Live do not take any responsibility for confiscated items.

WHAT ARE THE TICKET TYPES?

  • Reserved Seating; the Reserved Seats are in front of the stage and chairs are provided in this area. You may day in the seated section, but please remain in front of the seat you have purchased.

  • GA Lawn; area located behind Reserved Seating section. This is an unreserved area that is based on a first-come, first-served basis with BYO rug or camping chair. When purchasing a General Admission ticket, you may be quoted a row and seat number, however these are for inventory purposes only and do not reflect an actual seat or location. Please be aware of how much room your group is taking up; be considerate of others and set up as indicated on the screen graphic, or as advised by ushers/security.

PARKING

Parking is at owners risk. Parking outside of the venue on surrounding roads is not permitted.

If the onsite parking is affected by wet weather, off site parking and a complimentary bus shuttle will be made available. Please check the MG Live website and the relevant tour page before you head out to the concert and make sure you allow some extra time to get to the show.

Parking is available on site and can be pre-purchased for $30 per vehicle via Ticketmaster or you can pay by cash or card on the day. If you CAR-POOL to the concert and arrive in a vehicle with 4 or more paying ticket holders you will NOT be charged for parking. Please note there are no refunds for pre-paid parking if you arrive with four or more passengers.

 

TRANSPORT OPTIONS

Bus services: Taking the bus to and from the event is the best way to travel to and from the event. Please check the Bus Services and Transport Information section under the relevant venue on the MG Live website.


Pick up & Drop off: You can be dropped off and picked up from the venue. Please use the dedicated pick up / drop off zone. Drop off and pick up on surrounding roads is not permitted.


Taxis: A dedicated taxi rank is supplied at all events. Please note taxis can be in short supply at the end of the night and we highly recommend that you make alternative arrangements particularly for these events. Taxis must drop off passengers inside the venue and no pickups are allowed on the roads outside of the venue.


Ubers: Anyone getting dropped off or picked up by an Uber driver must do so in the dedicated pick up and drop off area. Please note organising a pickup from the site might be difficult due to poor mobile reception.

For private charter buses larger than 12 seaters, please register for bus parking via the MG Live website.

CAN I CAMP IN THE CARPARK?

Camping in the car park or anywhere on site is strictly prohibited.

CAN I LEAVE MY CAR IN THE CARPARK OVERNIGHT?

We do not advise this and we encourage patrons to make use of all bus transfer services available.

Leaving  your vehicle overnight is entirely at your own risk. The car park is not a secured or patrolled area.

These events are held outdoors on sites with terrain that consists of grass and uneven, rough surfaces. There is no shade or undercover areas, and the inclement weather can have a significant impact on the conditions of the site.
