The Living End are an Australian punk rock band formed in 1994. Since 2002 the line-up consists of Chris Cheney, Scott Owen and Andy Strachan. The band rose to fame in 1997 after the release of their double A-sided single, "Second Solution" / "Prisoner of Society". They have released eight studio albums and have had two No. 1 debuts on the Australian Albums Aria Chart. They have also gained chart success in the United States and United Kingdom. The Living End are one of Australia’s most ferocious live acts, consistently headlining festivals around the country. Their blistering live performances have earned the band an enviable position of one of Australia’s greatest live bands.

In 2026, the punk rock trio are ready to tour their hit-loaded setlist including new tracks from the ‘I Only Trust Rock n Roll’ album, plus the full swag of hits that made them household names over the last three decades – ‘White Noise’, ‘Roll On’, ‘Who’s Gonna Save Us’, ‘All Torn Down’, ‘Second Solution’, ‘Prisoner of Society’ and more.

Sydney alt-rock band LAHGO deliver fuzz-soaked guitars, sharp lyricism and fierce live energy, led by the soulful yet biting vocals of Mel Bailey. Alongside bassist and co-writer Lee Denman, the band fuse driving guitars and anthemic hooks into a sound built on femme fury, attitude and tongue-in-cheek honesty.

64 – 270 Lawrence Hargrave Drive, Thirroul NSW 2515. The entrance is located along Lawrence Hargrave Drive, with our accessible entrance accessed via King Street.
Train
Thirroul Station is 600m from Anita's Theatre and an 8 min stroll to the venue.
Bus
There are many bus stops located in Thirroul, most are a minute walk away from the venue.
Car & Parking
Parking is available in the surrounding streets, at the car park off King St (fees may apply), at the free Church St carpark (7 min walk via Lawrence Hargrave Drive ) and at the free Cliff Parade Thirroul Beach carpark (7 min walk via McCauley St).

Sonic Reducer
Sonic Reducer. Punk band. From Canberra. All 21-years-old. Describe their music as ‘2007-style sleaze punk with a dash of Iggy and a sprinkle of David Byrne’.
Members: Cormac (vocals, he/him, Leo), Lachlan (drums, he/him, Sagittarius), Ryleigh (guitar, he/him, Gemini), and Lily (bass, she/they, Taurus).
Accomplishments: Their debut EP SKEWBALL (2024) received tonnes of critical praise and airplay on Triple J, and their wild live shows have earned them a loyal, rapidly growing fan base from here to Timbuktu, which is to say they have a lot of fans in lots of places. New EP SQUEEZE is out now.
The band recently won both “Best Live Act” and “Artist of the Year” at the 2024 MAMAs awards in Canberra. Frontman Cormac McKahey also won “Best Live Voice” at the 2023 NLMAs, and the band were nominated for “Independent Debut of the Year” at the 2023 MAMAs.

UCLiveX is located at the University of Canberra, you can access the campus, and our venues from Aikman Drive, Ginninderra Drive, Haydon Drive and College Street. The UC Refectory is located in Building 1, Level B. Please see map for more details.

Companion Cards will be accepted for maximum 1 carer per paid ticket holder. The carer will be eligible for the same entry ticket type as the paid ticket holder. Tickets will not be issued for the Companion prior to the event, and Companions must arrive at the event along with the paid ticket holder and must present a valid Companion Card along with valid ID to gain entry to the event. The closest accessible parking for our venues is located at the UCX Loading Dock on Kirinari Street and to the side of Building 11 from the Ginninderra Drive Entry.
